Courier Post – Senate President Stephen M. Sweeney, Assembly Deputy Speaker John J. Burzichelli and Assemblywoman Celeste M. Riley of the 3rd Legislative District are advising residents to take advantage of programs available to assist low- and moderate-income homeowners with emergency home repairs.
The Gloucester County Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program is administered by the Gloucester County Division of Housing and Community Development, and can assist with eligible improvements including plumbing, heating, electrical, roofs, walls, ceilings, steps, railings, wells, septic systems, weatherproofing, lead removal and handicap accessibility.
Programs for Salem and Cumberland counties are administered by Triad Associates.
“It is one of our primary responsibilities as legislators to make sure that our constituents know the ways in which they can seek assistance through various agencies and programs,” said Sweeney.
