South Jersey Times – Senate President Steve Sweeney, Assembly Deputy Speaker John Burzichelli, and Assemblyman Adam Taliaferro encourage Third Legislative District residents to visit their upcoming mobile office locations:
Clayton Borough Hall, 125 N. Delsea Drive on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Glassboro Public Library, 2 Center St. on Thursday, Aug. 27, from noon to 3 p.m.
The mobile office is hosted by staff representatives who are available to assist residents with issues such as unemployment claim difficulties, energy assistance programs, consumer complaints, professional licensing matters, or any matter with a state agency.
The Clayton visit will highlight resources for seniors, including information on New Jersey’s state benefit programs. Copies of this year’s Property Tax Reimbursement program applications for first time applicants (also known as the “Senior Freeze”) will also be available for residents to pick up. The deadline to apply for the Property Tax Reimbursement program has been extended to October 15.
The Glassboro visit will offer materials for families, including travel information, activity books for children, and information about recreational activities.
For more information on the Third Legislative District and the services provided by the offices, residents are encouraged to visit njlegdistrict3.com or contact the office at 856-251-9801.
